Friday 14th October – bike *** – Two rivers including lunch at Felixstowe Ferry – Mainly cloudy.

Not such a nice a day as yesterday, mainly cloudy with a tad more breeze but still pleasant enough, usual morning at home doing my exercises while Mag worked very hard in the garden sorting out her much-loved compost! I thought she would be too knackered for another bike ride but she was keen to go somewhere for lunch. So, I packed a picnic and we headed out on the bikes for the fourth day in a row at 1.20. Down past the Grove Park then following Gulpher Road, across the golf course to Felixstowe Ferry. A quick spin around the boat yard with the cormorant once again drying its wings on a post, Mag was on the bench by the jetty so we decided to stay there for lunch as it was sheltered from the breeze watching the tide whizz in. The harbour master was using his boat as the ferry today but it was nice and quiet although we did chat with a few nice people with some dark moody sky’s:) Back along the seafront to The Dip, then around to The Fludgers which is fairly quiet, Mag turns off up Bent Hill while I continue onto Landguard, not much boat action today so headed for home via Langer Park.
Tomorrow is looking very promising for a windsurf, fingers crossed the wind plays ball!
